How do I show my support for the Guarantee?

We are asking everyone to sign the Willing to Fight Pledge, which outlines the key points of the Guarantee and asks everyday folks to help us win it. As we speak, canvassers are fanning out across the country to speak to their neighbors and communities about the Guarantee. What will it take to win it? What else do we need to win? How did we come up with the Working Families Guarantee?

Working Families Power has been engaged in a multiracial working class research project for several years and decided last year to develop a proactive economic populist agenda that could bring the multiracial working class together. We worked with multiple partners, research organizations and constituent organizations and conducted quarterly polling of working class voters during 2025, all with the goal of identifying the issues and policies that would have majority support. The Working Families Guarantee reflects a short but powerful list of bold economic solutions to make life more affordable for all working families in the United States.

Is this a comprehensive policy platform?

No. Working Families Power has not set out to develop a full platform at this time. Instead, we wanted a ‘greatest hits’ of the policies that are most popular and most unifying for the multiracial working class, and that will vastly change the economic conditions for working families at a time when people are struggling so hard just to get by. There are many other issues that we care about and are working actively on. There are also many things we need to stop, or fight against, at this moment of MAGA control of government and corporate control of the economy. But the Guarantee represents a slice of things we are fighting FOR. We want to put forward a vision of what everyone should have. It is time for a vision that is completely different from MAGA and also from the business as usual politics we have lived under for decades.
